My love for animals was instilled in me by my father at a very early age. He shared his fascination of animals and wildlife with me throughout my life. Although we could never have a dog in our home, I knew one day when I grew up there would be a dog. Early on, once I married, we adopted a Sheltie, then a Golden and a Yorkie. What great animals. All went into obedience and the Sheltie and I received our CD. Now that they have all passed and my children have left the nest, my new family of dogs are the Golden Retrievers. With a long search for just the right dog, I found Jazz, now 8 years old and doing very well. Along came Angel, who is now in her retirement home and then my little side kick, Teagan. She loves her clicker classes and we are having a great time with outstanding results.

As these beautiful dogs grow with me, my goal is to enjoy the show ring as much as possible with them as well as clicker training. I have set out to have a great breeding program concentrating on temperament, health and overall sound puppies that meet the Canadian Kennel Club Standard. I love to talk to people about raising their puppies and sending the in the right direction for information and education. I would like to thank Cathy Barlow from Tasmara Kennels for her confidence in me with her great dogs and helping me over the years with getting me started in the right direction. With her years of experience in breeding, I am very fortunate to have her ongoing advice and friendship.

What a great way to enter into retirement years with my husband Lloyd. He is very excited about our future endeavors with Golden Retrievers and has all the love in the world for them every evening when he arrives home from work.
